Important information: I am currently consuming a Hot Pocket for the first time and it is divine.
Less important information: The new Topman store has finally opened on 5th Avenue and it coincides with a time in my life where I’m severely unprepared for the coming cold. I might duck in there for a few items like a scarf, gloves, wool socks etc. Meanwhile we can still enjoy the fun part of the cold weather, where we can layer up and look good, and haven’t yet caved to the arctic anarchy leaving you hopelessly shuffling down the street to work, looking limbless, wrapped in giant down comforter.
Last week was Well Dressed Wednesday at the office. It’s not actually a thing, and nobody else participates, but I wanted to wear a sports coat and tie, so I used “it’s Well Dressed Wednesday!” as an excuse for overdressing. The jacket is deep emerald-green herringbone, which I picked up on sale from ASOS on a whim nearly two years ago. I never really wore it, but I recently acquired a linen tie from Ulterior Motive and that lead to me digging the green jacket out of the wardrobe. Linen ties are a 10/10 great idea for the mid-seasons.
White shirts are always a good choice.
